Xero Accounting - Its Fantastic!

After years of being told by others it's the best accounting software we finally made the move to Xero Accounting, and now we have so much spare time we even get time to write blogs!

If you are already established and have been using the same accounting software for years the thought of changing can be a stressful. But really it's not so bad and after a month everything settles down you realise that you should have done this a long time ago.

We have 7 years of history in Saasu that we didn't want to loose, 12000+ customers 150 suppliers, 7 bank feeds. (only 2 of which were automatic in Saasu) In a couple of days and few spreadsheets later Xero was set to go. We did have to do a few days of manual bank feed that was bit of a pain but after a week all 7 had been setup and it's been smooth sailing since.

I had to train the staff which wasn't difficult, all that involved was emailing the links to the Xero tutorials. I now ask them what to do when I get stuck.
